Tips on forum navigation
I've signed up, why can't I log in?A real person looks at every request for membership. These people have lives just like you do so the approval process may take a few hours and even a day or so. Please be patient. You will be able to log in once you receive a welcome message.
I don't want access to an area any longer.
If you no don't want to be able to go into an area, you need to unenroll from that area. This is done in the Administration block on the left side of the forum.
How do I see the field trips or classes?
If you aren't seeing the field trips or discussion areas, then you likely haven't signed up for those forums yet. To sign up for a forum, you'll need to go to the listing of all the forums. This is done by scrolling to the bottom of the front page and clicking the All forums button or by following the directions below if you are in a different forum.
I signed up for something that I don't want to be signed up for any longer. How do I fix that?
You should see a little X next to your entries. This is for delete. Click the one that you don't want any longer and it should remove you from it.
Where did all the forums go?
When you are in one of the forums, you should see a box on the left with My Forums. At the bottom of the box should be an All forums... link. Clicking that will give you the opportunity to choose from any of the other forums.
What forums have I subscribed to get in my e-mail?
After you enroll in a forum, you will find a box on the left side called Activities. Click on the Forums link. It will show all the subcategories within that area. It will also have a button next to each one telling you whether or not you are subscribed.
